Terms.

Short, readable terms. By using Kesmet you accept them. Email us if anything here is unclear.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your email and password safe. You agree to use Kesmet for lawful research and product decisions — not to harass, defame, or deceive real people, not to reverse-engineer the persona library, not to resell access as your own product. One account per person; share results, not credentials.

Billing

Paid plans renew monthly or annually until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing page — monthly plans cancel at the end of the current period, annual plans cancel at year-end. We do not play retention games.

Credits are non-refundable once granted, except where Belgian or EU consumer-protection law requires otherwise (we will not argue the point — email us). Subscription credits reset on your billing date. Top-up pack credits never expire. Failed runs caused by our infrastructure are automatically refunded to your balance.

What Kesmet is, and is not

Kesmet returns the opinions of fictional personas built from public statistics. We do our best to make those signals useful, and we are explicit about confidence and inference. Kesmet is not a replacement for talking to real customers when stakes are existential — see the FAQ. You make the call; we provide the input.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages, and rate limits can interrupt runs. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability beyond refunding the credits affected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be heard by the competent courts of Ghent, unless EU consumer law gives you the right to a different forum.
